中行澄清:相关中行所持美次优按揭债券报道不准确

    近日，包括中国银行在内的部分中资银行持有美国次优按揭债券问题引起海内外媒体关注。记者8日就此采访了中行新闻发言人王兆文。

    王兆文说，已注意到有关中行持有美国次优按揭债券报道，其中有些报道内容与实际情况存在较大出入，是不准确的。

    王兆文表示，中行已定于本月下旬公布2007年上半年的经营状况和财务报告。中行将在中期报告中对有关信息进行披露和说明。中行持有美国次优按揭债券的相关信息，以中报披露内容为准，其他途径的任何信息都是缺乏依据的。    

    据了解，中资银行中，交通银行、中国建设银行、中国工商银行等也持有美国次级按揭债券，但数量均较少，影响不大。
