人民币升值助减木桨成本压力

    维达国际主席兼行政总裁李朝旺表示，虽然木桨价格自04年不断上升，对成本构成压力，惟随著人民币持续升值，公司以美元购买原材料已有助抵销成本上升问题，加上获生产规模效益、产品多元化及品牌效应等因素支持。

    他预期，公司年底前生产规模将增至24万吨，而在北京、广东、四川、湖北等地区设有策略性的生产基地，将可带来更大经济效益。

    此外，他称对於首日挂牌股价表现感满意，相信随著内地人民生活水平质素提升，对高档卫生用品需求增加，估计内地卫生纸市场规模，至2010年将达350亿元人民币，较06年增长110亿元人民币。

    维达国际首日挂牌，最新报5.07元，较招股价3.68元高38%，成交8.35亿元。
