美联储主席伯南克:美联储的银行监管职能十分重要

    美联储主席伯南克5日称，美联储的银行监管职能十分重要，其讲话没有涉及经济或政策前景。

    综合外电1月5日报道，美国联邦储备委员会(Federal Reserve,简称Fed)主席伯南克(Ben Bernanke)5日针对Fed制定货币政策和监管银行的双重职能进行辩护，称每一个职能都有助于Fed应对金融市场稳定所面临的潜在威胁。

    伯南克在为American Economic Association准备的讲话中称，金融市场的稳定面临各种各样难以预料的威胁，Fed应对这些威胁的能力取决于其通过银行监管者和央行双重身份所获得的信息、专业知识和权利。

    伯南克的讲话没有涉及经济或政策前景。他的讲话没有安排问答环节。
