加央行称中国拖延汇率改革将令全球保护主义加剧

    加拿大央行总裁道奇周四表示,中国必须允许人民币升值,在处理此事上拖延时间将愈发招致全球保护主义.

    道奇在纽约向记者表示,中国正在消耗推行汇率改革的好时机,若未能实施,可能有损其在亚洲贸易伙伴中的地位.

    他指出,所担心的是,中国在汇率改革上拖得时间越长,世界其他国家,特别是北美和欧洲,增强保护主义的呼声就越高.(路透)
