摩根士丹利董事长表示人民币升值25%--30%不现实

    摩根士丹利公司董事长麦晋桁昨天说，美国有许多人关注人民币汇价对其贸易的影响，甚至要求中国把货币升值25%-30%，这是不现实的，也是不可取的。

    麦晋桁是在出席美国华裔精英组织“百人会”一次颁奖仪式时发表上述言论的。他指出，中国的银行系统还未完善，人民币过快升值可能会破坏金融体系的稳定。实际上，人民币升值不应是美国集中关注的问题。无独有偶，央行副行长、外管局局长胡晓炼不久前也公开表示，不能夸大汇率在解决世界经济失衡中的作用。自2005年7月21日汇改以来，人民币升值幅度已超过6.72%。

    麦晋桁同时表示，大摩将积极参与中国的房地产市场。过去5年，大摩向中国的房地产市场投了15亿美元，今年计划将其增加到30亿美元。
