美国财长保尔森表示:健康的美国经济对墨西哥有益

    美国财长保尔森表示，相信美国经济是健康的，就业市场的强劲支撑着国内消费，美联储也在控制着通胀，而这对墨西哥也是好消息。 

    美国财长保尔森(Henry Paulson)24日表示，强劲的美国经济增长将惠及墨西哥，相信美国经济是健康的，而这对墨西哥来说也是好消息，就业市场的强劲支撑着国内消费，美联储也在控制着通胀。

    国际货币基金组织(International Monetary Fund，IMF)4月初曾表示，与美国存有密切贸易关系的墨西哥经济正在受到美国经济下滑的拖累。

    保尔森对此表示，美国经济只不过是在经历从不稳定的经济增长态势中放缓至稳定增长的过程。

    保尔森称赞墨西哥总统卡尔德龙(Felipe Calderon)政府在墨西哥养老体系改革中的成功，并认为这是一项巨大的成果。保尔森认为卡尔德龙政府一直在致力于提高墨西哥的竞争力。

    保尔森称，未来几个月将专注于拉丁美洲的经济发展，该地区的政府有意发展其国内的资本市场。

    保尔森同时敦促美国国会批准美国与秘鲁、哥伦比亚和厄瓜多尔的自由贸易协议。
