保监会批准中国平安从事人民币利率互换试点业务

    中国保险监督管理委员会称，已批准中国平安从事人民币利率互换试点业务，但仅限于对冲风险和套期保值，不得从事投机性操作。

    中国保监会5月8日消息，中国保险监督管理委员会称，已批准中国平安保险(集团)股份有限公司(简称：中国平安)从事人民币利率互换试点业务，试点本金最大规模为人民币190亿元。

    保监会称，中国平安开展人民币利率互换交易业务，仅限于对冲风险和套期保值，不得从事投机性操作。

    同时应按照自主决策、自担风险的原则，制定人民币利率互换业务策略，稳妥开展此项业务；审慎选择交易对手，注意防范信用风险，维护保险资产安全。

    此外，在试点前，应制定有关管理规则和操作方案，报保监会备案并及时报告此项业务情况。

    到目前为止，中国保险监督管理委员会已批准包括中国平安在内的5家保险机构开展人民币利率互换服务。其余的四家保险机构为：中国人寿保险股份有限公司、中国人民财产保险股份有限公司、泰康人寿保险股份有限公司及美国国际集团子公司AIA Co.。
