美国会通过货币利率法案 人民币升值成为关注焦点

    美国参议院财政委员会星期四通过了一项法案，授权政府可以对其贸易伙伴国采取新的措施以促使其采用更市场化的货币政策。

    这项法案允许美国公司可以要求对进口自“偏离基准”汇率国家的产品加收反倾销税。

    这项法案的通过主要针对中国。参议院财政委员会主席鲍卡斯说：“今天中国的人民币是我们关注的焦点，明天可能另一个经济体的货币会产生更大的威胁。”

    法案还要求布什总统通过国际货币基金组织和世界贸易组织迫使相关国家按照美国意愿改革汇率制度。

    此外，法案指出如果这些国家没有在一年之内改革汇率，美国联邦储备委员会可以介入国际市场干预“偏离基准”的货币。
