美联储降息给各国央行出难题

    美联储11日再度降息25个基点，但降息幅度够不够，该不该继续降息，以及其他国家(地区)中央银行是否应随同降息，这些问题在市场当中引起巨大争论。

    分析人士指出，由于全球普遍出现通胀上升趋势，美联储持续降息可能令其他央行在货币决策上面临两难：如果跟随降息，通胀压力可能进一步加大，流动性问题更难解决；如果为应对通胀加息，将可能因为和美国利息差的扩大而面临本币升值、出口受制等其他难题。这压缩了各央行利率调整的空间，增加了操作难度。

    为避免经济减速，本月6日英国央行将基准利率由5.75%降至5.50%。但11月份的最新数据显示，英国1至11月份的食品价格同比上涨6.6%，创下了自1993年以来最快增速。这显示英国通胀压力持续增大，英国央行未来货币政策选择将“左右为难”。

    美联储降息引发的美元持续贬值，还使多国考虑进行汇率政策调整。巴林外交大臣日前就表示，海湾国家正在考虑重估本国货币，并将在“最近几天”召开有关汇率问题的会议。
