市场认为美联储下周二将再减息0.25％

    美国联邦储备局昨晚（22日）突然宣布大幅调低联邦基金利率0﹒75％至3﹒5％，是23年来最大的减幅，贴现率亦调低0﹒75％至4％，以防止经济过度放缓至衰退。

    联储局昨晚减息后，利率市场100％肯定联储局下周二（29日）的两天会议，将再减息0﹒25％至3﹒25％，下周减息0﹒5％至3％的机会率亦达78％。

    市场同时预期联储局未来将有连串减息行动，令今年中利率降至2﹒25％。芝加哥联储银行公布上月全国活动指数，已跌至十分接近发出衰退的警号，为联储局打开未来持续减息的大门。
