美联储主席透露美经济窘境 美元兑主要货币下跌

    伯南克在讲话中预留了进一步减息的可能性，称经济增长面临的下行风险依然来自于住房、就业及信贷市场。但他表示，预计08年年底和2009年的情况会有所改善，尤其是在刚刚通过的经济刺激计划的影响下。

    美国联邦公开市场委员会(Federal Open Market Committee,

    FOMC)自07年9月以来已累计将联邦基金利率下调225个基点，至3%，其中1月份时FOMC在八天中就将利率下调了125个基点。

    伯南克警告称，由于劳动力市场疲软、能源成本高涨、股票价格走低以及房屋贬值，未来数月信贷可能会进一步紧缩，同时消费者也将面临一段困难时期。

    另外，伯南克表示，联邦国民抵押贷款协会(Fannie Mae,简称：房利美)和联邦住房贷款抵押公司(Federal Home Loan Mortage

    Corporation, Freddie Mac)等政府资助企业仍然面临系统风险，这也对美元汇率构成不利影响。欧洲央行(European Central

    Bank)管理委员会委员韦伯(Axel Weber)14日表示，金融市场人士的利率预期没有完全反映出欧元区所面临的通货膨胀上行风险。

    道琼斯工业股票平均价格指数14日下跌约160点，这令美元兑日圆更添压力，因为股价走低往往会降低投资者的风险偏好，而这转而又会对日圆及其他低收益货币带来提振。
