法国总统萨科奇称声称将要求与布朗合作提振美元

    法国总统萨科齐周三晚些时候开始对英国进行为期两天的国事访问，他声称将要求英国首相布朗加强两国之间的合作，共同提振节节败退的美元。

    萨科齐重申，欧元汇率上扬，已经导致包括欧洲航空防卫及太空公司在内的欧洲企业，在国内进行裁员并重新部署在国外的活动。欧元/美元在过去12个月里已经累计上涨17%，并在3月17日创下历史新高1.5904。

    而在英国央行官员暗示英镑将继续下跌后，英镑兑美元和欧元双双下跌。英国央行首席经济学家毕恩(Charles Bean)在英国议会财政委员会表示，英镑近期仍将进一步下跌。

    萨科齐还指出，英法两国应该针对东欧和非洲移民问题制定共同的移民政策，加强反恐合作，制定法律促使评级公司增强透明性，同时加强对跨国企业的审查。

    布朗则表示，他将与萨科齐讨论移民和政治经济问题，特别是在促使银行增加透明性方面。他说："我们未来两天的会谈将非常具有建设性，法国和英国对跨国企业采取共同措施是非常明智的，这将有助于两国的经济发展。"
