外管局起草外汇管理新规 将放宽QFII资金锁定期

    国家外汇管理局副局长李东荣称﹐中国正在修改相关规则﹐放松对合格境外机构投资者机制的限制﹐包括缩短外国机构投资者根据QFII机制投资国内资本市场的禁售期。

    继去年晚些时候提高QFII限额后﹐这一最新举动符合中国经常提及的改善QFII机制﹑发展国内资本市场的目标。但是﹐李东荣发表上述讲话的时间有重大意义﹐在国内股市自去年年底以来持续下跌之际﹐这番讲话可能表明政府支持市场的发展。
