美联储副主席科恩:银行惜贷行为提升经济下滑风险

    美联储副主席科恩周四表示，尽管美联储已经数次大幅降息，但银行的惜贷行为还是推高了信贷成本，从而增加了经济下滑的风险。

    科恩指出，尽管货币政策已经相当宽松，但银行的惜贷行为仍降低了一些资产的价值，收紧了信贷成本、以及大量金融工具的可用性。

    他认为，信贷如此紧张，会加剧整体经济的下行风险。

    科恩声称，银行在持续不断的市场动荡中应考虑增加资本缓冲，如果他们确实如此做了，那么一旦市场稳定下来，他们就能开始进一步发展。
