投资失误 高盛一明星基金8月"缩容"两成

    据《第一财经日报》报道，由于在外汇和股票交易中损失惨重，国际投行高盛旗下素有“高盛的金矿”之称的数量型对冲基金Global Alpha，其规模在8月大跌22.5%，创其单月最大跌幅。

    8月Global Alpha最大的一笔错误交易来自外汇市场――出售日元并买入澳大利亚元。由于套利交易头寸大量解除，8月澳大利亚元兑日元下跌6.9%。这笔交易使Global Alpha亏损8.9%。

    “我们仍然坚持我们的基本投资信念。随着时间的推移，良好的经济投资原理搭配专业的数量方法，能够提供强劲而且不相关的投资回报。”有媒体援引高盛一份未署名的报告称。高盛发言人对此拒绝置评。

    今年以来Global Alpha的资产规模已下跌三分之一。如果从去年3月时的峰值算起，跌幅更达44%。

    Global Alpha曾是高盛最赚钱的基金。从2001年12月至2005年12月，其年回报率接近20%，2005年的毛利率为51%，去年为高盛创造了7亿美元的收入。这只基金年初时还被媒体称为“高盛的金矿”。
