港新持牌基金经理大幅增加

    香港证监会昨日披露，该会此前简化了对海外基金经理的发牌程序，对冲基金经理因此而受惠。2007年前9个月，新获发牌的基金经理人数已超越去年全年。

    香港证监会行政总裁韦奕礼介绍，市场的持续增长也使持牌基金经理（中介人）的总人数攀升至9月底的32208人的新记录。

    香港证监会在其2007-2008财政年度第二季《季度报告》中介绍，过去数月，证监会引入多项促进市场发展的措施，包括建议提高交易所参与者及其客户在衍生工具市场可建立的持仓限额，制定多项举措以支持《更紧密经贸关系安排》补充协议四的安排及合格境内机构投资者(QDII)计划。
