银监会批准银行QDII买卖英国股票

    中国银监会17日宣布，中、英两国金融监管部门已就商业银行代客境外理财业务做出监管合作安排，中国的商业银行可代客投资于英国的股票市场以及经英国金融监管当局认可的公募基金。

    据悉，中国银监会与美国证监会也已原则同意将于近期签署商业银行代客境外理财业务监管合作交换信函。

    今年5月，中国银监会颁布《关于调整商业银行代客境外理财业务境外投资范围的通知》，扩大商业银行开办代客境外理财业务境外投资范围，允许投资在境外证券交易所上市的股票。通知同时规定，商业银行发行投资于境外股票的代客境外理财产品时，需满足的一项条件是，商业银行应选择在与中国银监会已签订代客境外理财业务监管合作谅解备忘录的境外监管机构监管的股票市场进行股票投资。

    此前，中国银监会与香港证监会在今年4月签署了代客境外理财业务监管合作谅解备忘录。

    据中国银监会有关负责人日前透露，截至今年10月底，共有23家中外资银行取得开办代客境外理财业务资格，其中21家共取得161亿美元的境外投资购汇额度，有16家中外资银行参与QDII海外投资计划，共推出154个产品，人民币销售额达351.96亿元，约占购汇额度总额的29％，美元销售额为10.12亿元。
