银监会:银行QDII投资将逐渐扩展到新兴市场

    银监会纪委书记王华庆近日指出，银监会将逐渐扩展商业银行代客境外理财投资范围，从成熟的发达国家资本市场扩展到新兴资本市场，为投资者提供更多的境外投资机遇。

    王华庆指出，随着有关合作协议的签署，商业银行代客境外理财业务的境外投资范围已经扩展到香港、英国、新加坡和日本，目前主要集中在香港。这项业务仍处于逐渐成熟的发展阶段，未来发展空间很大。

    据了解，自2006年4月商业银行代客境外理财业务政策实施以来，各中、外资商业银行积极申请开展此项业务，产品种类日益丰富，业务规模不断扩大。截至2007年末，共有23家中、外资商业银行取得了开办代客境外理财业务资格，其中16家中、外资银行共推出262款代客境外理财产品，人民币销售额达到414亿元，外币销售额达到12亿美元。
