周道炯:望广大基民呵护基金业发展

    纪念中国基金业十周年暨第五届（2007年度）中国基金业金牛奖颁奖典礼今日隆重举行。典礼邀请有关部门领导、业内资深专家到会演讲，并颁发2007年度金牛奖十一大类奖项以及中国基金业十周年特别奖。中国证监会前主席周道炯的因事不能出席，特发来贺信，以下的贺信原文。

    周道炯：我因在外地赶不上中国证券报社主办的中国证券投资基金业十周年庆典和2008年金牛奖基金论坛暨第五届“中国基金金牛奖”颁奖典礼，非常遗憾，也深表歉意。祝论坛取得圆满成功，祝获奖单位在再接再厉，更上一层楼。

    中国基金业时间短，发展快，潜力大，希望广大基民支持呵护基金业的发展，让它促进国民经济和中国资本市场健康快速发展中发挥更大的作用。
