2014年Collahuasi铜矿产量料超过100万吨

    据伦敦12月5日消息，全球第四大铜矿产商--矿业集团Xstrata一资深主管周三表示，预计下属Collahuasi铜矿产量到2010年将增至650,000吨，2014年将超过100万吨。

    该公司智利北部分部副主席Jon Evans在电话会议上表示，预计该矿通过两个阶段的扩张实现上述目标，第一阶段的可行性研究将于明年开始。

    Xstrata公司希望通过开发一系列新矿以及扩张现有运作单位，在未来5年内扩大铜产量至200万吨。

    Collahuasi是全球第五大铜矿，目前产量为440,000吨。该公司拥有44%股权，另外一个主要股东英美公司同样拥有44%股权。

    Xstrata公司认为亚洲太平洋地区存在潜力，该公司在菲律宾和巴布亚新几内亚拥有铜矿项目。
