智利Cochilco预期2008年铜均价为每磅3.10美元

    据圣地亚哥1月9日消息，智利国有铜业委员会（Cochilco）周三表示，预期2008年铜平均价格约为每磅3.10美元，因库存持续吃紧且中国的需求强劲。

    Cochilco执行副会长Eduardo Titelman表示，智利2008年铜产量可能达到570万吨，较2007年增长3.4%，因国有Codelco公司下属Gaby矿投产，且必和必拓下属Spence矿以及Xstrata公司和英美公司下属Collahuasi矿增产。

    Titelman称，2007年智利铜产量料为550万吨。

    他表示，Cochilco预估该国今年钼产量降至40,000吨，2007年预计为44,500吨。

    他认为2008年铜市依然吃紧，需求为1840万吨，产量为1850万吨。

    Titelman表示，2009年铜价(60850,-660,-1.07%,股票吧)可能维持强势，接近每磅2.70美元。目前纽约铜价约为每磅3.26美元。

    国有Codelco公司执行长Jose Pablo Arellano表示，美国铜需求因房市需求放缓而下滑。

    他在圣地亚哥对记者说到，“事实上，美国市场有些疲软，但亚洲，特别是中国的需求依然旺盛。”

    他表示，全球铜需求增长的70%来自于中国。

    本周稍早，Codelco公司表示已经建立一个新的管理部门，专门负责开展中国的业务。
