对冲基金:极其看好农产品牛市前景

    一对冲基金经理称，农产品经过了年初的暴涨及3月的暴跌后，农产品牛市还将持续。

    在周三举行的路透对冲基金及私募股权峰会上，Eclectica资产管理公司投资总监及合伙人修·亨德利说，在基本的粮食市场上，供给很紧张，谷物库存处于极低的水平。

    而且，美国玉米被大量用于生产燃料乙醇，使得用于食物的玉米数量进一步下降，许多美国农场主还将玉米地改种了其他农作物。

    今年年初以来，农产品期货在投资资金及其他投机资金买盘推动下大幅上涨，但3月份又很快出现暴跌行情。对此，亨德利表示，农产品市场3月份的暴跌只是商品超级牛市中的一次暂时的调整而已。

    食品供给紧张，土地资源有限，生物燃料与农作物之间的争夺播种土地，以及需求的增长，都将导致食品供给的严重短缺，加剧全球食品价格的高涨。

    “我们极其看好农产品牛市前景。”亨德利说。
