买份工伤保险 农民工因公致残最高可赔20万元

    390元的保费换来20万元赔款！3月23日，因公导致高位瘫痪的滑县农民工田玉平拿到了新华人寿支付的20万元高残保险金。据了解，这也是我省各保险公司迄今为止给付额度最高的高残保险金。

    去年3月2日，田玉平在安阳县一家石料厂采石时，因操作工人配合过程中的不慎，巨石从山上落下直接砸向了他的颈部，经医院诊断为颈椎第6、7块骨头粉碎性骨折，高位瘫痪。由于该石料厂在当年2月28日为田玉平等27名农民工办理了《团体意外伤害保险》，并为每位工人缴纳了人均390元的保费，这起事故得到了保险公司的理赔。据新华人寿人士介绍，田玉平的伤经鉴定后确认属于一级伤残。

    记者了解到，田玉平是家里的支柱，因病致残后，家里一贫如洗，孩子只能辍学。“田玉平的家庭情况很具普遍性。”保险业人士提醒农民工朋友，保险不是城里人的专利，只要准备出门打工，一定要主动为自己买一份保险，或要求用人单位按规定购买保险，以防万一。
