单位欠缴失业保险费咋办

    赣州吴先生：我是赣州一家企业单位的职工，由于单位经济比较困难，一直以来都拖欠员工的失业保险费未及时缴纳。我想咨询一下，现在是否可以续缴？

    记者跑腿：江西省劳动和社会保障厅一工作人员告诉记者，单位确有困难的，可以向劳动部门申请缓缴，如经劳动部门批准，缓缴期间将不收取滞纳金；而未被批准缓缴的单位欠费，补缴时除补缴欠费外，还需从欠费之日起按日加收2‰的滞纳金，滞纳金将并入失业保险基金。
