农民工采石受伤 河南新华给付20万高残保险金

    2007年3月23日，因公导致高残的河南省滑县农民工田玉平在病床上收到新华人寿河南省分公司20万元的巨额高残保险理赔金。据了解，这是河南省各保险公司目前给付额度最高的高残保险金。

    2006年3月2日，田玉平在安阳县一家石料厂采石转眼时，由于操作工人配合过程中的不慎，巨石从山上落下直接砸向了他的颈部，经医院诊断为颈椎第6、7块骨头粉碎性骨折，高位瘫痪。该石料厂在当年2月28日为27名农民工在新华保险鹤壁中心支公司办理了《团体意外伤害保险》，平均为每位工人缴纳保费390元。2006年9月初客户的家属到新华保险公司正式申请理赔，公司立刻安排了医疗鉴定，并通知家属准备理赔资料，经鉴定后确认田玉平属一级伤残。就在此时客户告知公司，石料厂的负责人竟想侵占田玉平的保险金，扣押了田玉平的投保书。在这种情况下，公司想方设法帮助客户寻找理赔资料，并且利用一切可以利用的手段与厂方联系，经过公司多方协调终于在2007年2月4日把资料准备到位，并上报河南省分公司。经过调查取证，公司将理赔款20万元送到了田玉平的家中。
