陈继荣:为构建社保体系尽智出力

    4月10日至11日，市政协召开九届二十一次常委会议，专题协商讨论城乡社会保障问题。市政协主席陈继荣要求各级政协组织和政协委员，发挥自身优势，积极建言献策，为构建社会保障体系尽智出力。

    陈继荣指出，社会保障工作是社会稳定的“安全网”，收入分配的“调节阀”，经济运行的“减震器”，社会保障既是国之大计，又是民之福祉。构建和谐社会要进一步完善保险体系，扩大覆盖范围，降低医疗救助门槛，积极落实城镇廉租住房政策，建立农村困难家庭危房改造动态管理机制，研究解决困难群众的住房问题。同时，要做好困难家庭子女就读大专院校的援助工作，不让一个学生因贫辍学。各级政协组织和政协委员要明确责任，履行职能，为推进全市城乡社会保障事业快速健康发展、建设和谐奋进新宝鸡建言献策多做贡献！

    会上，常委们分别听取了市政府关于城乡社会保障情况的通报和市政协关于城乡社会保障调查情况的通报以及政协组织的有关人事安排。(宝鸡日报)
