新华人寿公布老保单理赔原则 客户可自行选择索赔

    新华人寿今日上午发布声明，称针对重大疾病保险的疾病定义实施后老保单理赔问题，老客户理赔可自行选择。

    对于2007年8月1日以前生效的重大疾病保险保单，当被保险人在2007年4月3日以后发生保险事故时，客户既可以按照原保单所述疾病定义申请理赔，也可以按照出险病种在《重大疾病保险的疾病定义及使用规范》中对应的标准定义进行理赔。

    《重大疾病保险的疾病定义及使用规范》于上周出台，对老保单的理赔问题，中国保险行业协会曾明确表示，有关新老保单过渡问题，由各家保险公司与消费者协商解决。
