职工请长假单位也得缴社保

    信丰县陈先生：我是一家企业的正式职工，现已请长假一年多，请问单位应为我缴纳养老保险吗？

    记者跑腿：省劳动和社会保障厅一位工作人员说，职工如确实因病无法从事工作，并在患病时办理了正式请假手续，用人单位就应当按规定，按时足额为其缴纳养老保险费。对请长病假的职工，单位可按有关规定给予医疗期，在规定的医疗期内，职工仍不能从事原工作，也不能从事单位另行安排的工作，才可解除劳动合同，同时停止为其缴纳社保。(信息日报)
