乌干达计划设再保险公司

    由于乌未设立如领国肯尼亚和坦桑尼亚开设的国家再保险公司，目前已损失2570万美元。乌保险协会主席称，乌2006年保险费收入为5710万美元，但其中50%为外国再保险公司赚得。但是随着乌现有保险业状况的改善，及乌再保险公司的成立，上述情况将不再发生。乌将修改现有保险条列，迫使保险公司向拟建中的乌再保险公司投保。而现有法律将迫使现有保险公司与东南非优贸再保险公司(PTA)投保。
