保险业内人士:保单早已"通俗化" 公众教育更重要

    本地保险业者指出,消费者要了解保险的内容,通俗易懂的保险合约条文固然重要,但更重要的是,消费者必须对保险产品具备基本的认识,以及保险代理清楚交代保单的内容。

    在医药保险的投诉个案当中,主要都指保险代理对保单的内容陈述不实,或保险公司因投保人患有“旧有病症”(pre-existing illness)为由,而拒绝索赔。(联合早报)
