保险业首份<社会责任报告>推出

    昨日，中国人寿隆重举行《中国人寿社会责任报告》发布会，首次向媒体和公众发布社会责任报告。

    据悉，这也是我国保险企业发布社会责任报告的第一家。

    中国人寿作为我国最大的保险集团，在推动公司持续、稳定、健康、快速发展的同时，始终坚持“关注民生保障，促进社会和谐”，勇于承担行业和社会责任，自觉履行企业公民义务，初步形成了具有自身特色的社会责任理念，构建了相对完整的社会责任体系，成功实现了经济责任与社会责任的有机结合、经济效益与社会效益的有机统一。该公司发布的报告指出，中国人寿承担的社会责任主要包括9个方面：对国家，承担促进经济发展和保障经济稳定运行的责任；对社会，承担促进平安和谐和提高全社会保障水平的责任；对政府，承担创造税收和创造就业机会的责任；对行业，承担引领发展和树立良好社会形象的责任；对股东和投资人，承担确保国有资产保值增值和实现股东价值最大化的责任；对客户，承担满足客户需求和提供优质服务的责任；对员工，承担促进成长和保障合法权益的责任；对环境，承担减少资源消耗和促进可持续发展的责任；对社区，承担促进社区的繁荣与和谐，提供安全、健康的生活环境的责任。
