国民信托将涉足保险业 资本额初定5亿

    日前有消息传出，汇丰控股已获得监管机构批准，将与中资信托投资公司国民信托成立一家合资保险公司。汇控亚太区保险业务区域主管汤德信(David Fried)表示，公司将持有上述合资保险公司最多50%股益；合资保险公司资本额初定为5亿元人民币，双方各出资2.5亿元。

    据悉，汇丰此次与国民信托筹组合资保险公司的申请，是在CEPA的框架下提出的。根据规定，香港居民和企业可以在CEPA框架细则下，进行指定的贸易及投资活动，包括允许银行有机会进入内地某些经济领域，包括投资保险业。
