普华永道经济犯罪调查:保险业跃居欺诈最猖獗行业

    普华永道昨日发布的《2007年度全球经济犯罪调查》结果表明，欺诈最猖獗的行业为保险业，而曾位于欺诈首位的金融服务业(银行、证券业等)则下降为第四位。

    这份调查报告显示，“没有哪个行业不存在欺诈行为”，但最猖獗前五大行业依次是：保险业、零售业、政府和公共部门、金融服务业、汽车业。在具体的欺诈行为中，资产侵占在保险业发生的比例为46%，而洗钱主要涉及金融服务业。普华永道咨询服务部合伙人Jean Roux分析说，上述行业欺诈高发主要是与资金往来牵涉较多，特别是保险业近年来成长加快，导致更多的机会提供欺诈。

    这项调查共涉及全球5400家公司，其中有100家香港公司，但未包括中国内地本土公司。对中国内地公司的调查是通过530名负责中国业务的外资机构管理人员进行的。所以Jean Roux强调，调查结果是全球性的，“不能对中国得出有针对性的结论”。

    据调查，43%的受访公司在过去的两年中遭遇过经济犯罪，平均直接经济损失从170万美元增长到达240万美元，直接损失累计超过42亿美元。各种经济犯罪包括挪用资产、造假账、洗钱等。在遭受欺诈的公司中，有69%表示他们的股票价格因此受到消极影响。
