长安责任险获得从事交强险资格

    记者昨日从保监会获悉，首家责任险公司——长安责任保险股份有限公司(以下简称“长安责任险”)获得了从事机动车交通事故责任强制保险(以下简称“交强险”)业务资格。至此，拿到交强险牌照的保险机构已达26家。

    根据国务院2006年3月28日颁布的《机动车交通事故责任强制保险条例》(以下简称《条例》)的有关规定，保险公司从事交强险必须经中国保监会核准，并且只有中资保险公司才能从事交强险业务。到目前为止，已有中国人民财产保险股份有限公司、中国平安财产保险股份有限公司等25家财险公司获得了此项资格。

    据悉，机动车交通事故责任强制保险是我国首个由国家法律规定实行的强制保险制度，是指由保险公司对被保险机动车发生道路交通事故造成受害人(不包括本车人员和被保险人)的人身伤亡、财产损失，在责任限额内予以赔偿的强制性责任保险。去年6月，保监会公布了交强险的责任限额标准，全国统一定为6万元人民币。
