"分改子"被否 友邦保险:对寿险发展依然保持信心

    针对本报昨日报道的“分改子”被否事件，友邦保险亚太区正式作出回应。友邦保险发给本报记者的电子邮件中表示，有关对现有全资分支机构整合的申请主要是为了进一步提高运作效率。友邦保险尊重保监会的决定，并对其在华全资寿险业务发展保持信心。

    由于存在法律障碍，友邦保险整合在华分支机构计划12月10日被保监会明文拒批。保监会明确表态，不批准友邦上海分公司改建为子公司的申请，理由是根据我国入世承诺，境外寿险公司在华设立营业机构必须采取合资形式，且外方持股不超过50%。这意味着友邦未来在华圈地必须采取合资模式，这使在华一贯“独善其身”的友邦陷入两难境地。

    在昨日回复中，友邦保险并未透露未来业务拓展计划究竟是选择继续独资，还是打破惯例选择合资路径进行下一步扩张。
