巴西正式开放再保险市场

    随着两家国外再保险机构被批准进入巴西，巴西再保险市场17日正式开放。此前巴西再保险市场只有IRB巴西再保险公司一家处于垄断地位。

    巴西负责规范保险事务的私有保险监督局负责人阿曼多·多斯桑托斯说，IRB、英国劳合社和德国慕尼黑再保险公司成为在巴西的三大再保险机构。除这三家公司外，法国再保险公司、瑞士再保险公司及其子公司美洲瑞士再保险公司、大西洋再保险公司也已经通过了前期审核。

    此外，已经提交申请的公司还有巴西帕拉银行的J.Malucelli公司、美国信利再保险公司、美国家庭保险公司和西班牙曼弗雷再保险公司。多斯桑托斯预计，到2008年年底，巴西国内将有约60家再保险公司。

    巴西2007年保险市场保单金额为298亿美元，只占国内生产总值的2.3%，低于7.6%的世界平均水平。
