　　据新华社华盛顿1月23日电 美国国会参议院23日批准杰罗姆·鲍威尔担任下届美国联邦储备委员会主席。

　　参议院当天以85票赞成、12票反对的结果通过了对鲍威尔的提名。鲍威尔预计将于2月3日珍妮特·耶伦任期届满后正式担任美联储主席。
