改善药监基础设施 已有14亿资金拨付到位

    总投资88亿元的“食品药品监管系统基础设施建设规划项目”在发改委的支持下进展顺利。目前，已经有14亿元中央资金拨付到位。其中总投资逾6亿元的中西部地区行政执法装备购置项目已进入公开招标阶段将于今年内完成。这是国家食品药品监管局新闻发言人颜江瑛在日前举行的例行新闻发布会上透露的。

    据悉由于食品药品监管系统组建时间短，基础差，底子薄，基础设施和技术能力滞后于监管工作发展的需要，不能满足现代监管工作的要求。为提高行政执法和技术监督的能力和水平，国家食品药品监管局2005年底着手研究和实施该项目。目标是争取用3到5年时间，使中央级基础设施达到与食品药品监管工作、经济社会发展相适应，技术手段在国际上处于比较先进的水平；使地方的食品药品监管体系能够承担法定赋予的各项任务。
