投资者忧消费放缓 道指跌246点纳指挫48点

    美国股市上周五大幅下挫，因美国运通警告信用卡违约上升，加上消费者支出放缓。

    道琼斯工业平均指数收市挫246.79点或1.92%，报12,606.30点；标准普尔500指数跌19.31点或1.36%，报1,401.02点；纳斯达克综合指数则跌48.58点或1.95%，报2,439.94。

    金融股美国运通股价急挫逾10%，消费股麦当劳大跌6.6%。

    另外，美国银行表示，将以全股票方式收购全美最大按揭机构Countrywide，作价40亿美元。惟穆迪表示，可能下调美国银行信贷评级，Countrywide股价急挫18.3%，美国银行跌2%。
