"超龄"家电应及时处理

    家用电器无论技术多先进，一般都有个使用年限，过了这个期限使用安全就没有保障了。近日，记者发现在一些市民家中，不少超龄家电仍然没有“退役”。

    万州区兴茂花园的廖女士家的双筒洗衣机已经差不多用了十年了。廖女士告诉记者她从来没想过使用年限的事。

    据了解，一些市民家中的电器例如电视、洗衣机、电风扇等因为保养得好，往往用了十来年还在用。同时有些市民从二手市场购买旧家电也只看外观，对实际使用年限并不追究。

    记者咨询了家电维修工张世平先生，他告诉记者，一般家用电器安全使用年限电冰箱为10至15年，电视机8到10年，电脑6年，电风扇16年，洗衣机12年，超过这个年限很有可能发生漏电、爆炸等事故，因此市民对于家中的一些超龄家电不要舍不得，要及时处理。同时市民购买旧家电也一定要了解实际使用年限。
