摩根士丹利研究报告称人民币升值无助于美国经济

    国际著名投行———摩根士丹利昨天发布的全球研究报告认为，美政府一直强调的人民币升值，实质不能解决美国当前面临的储蓄率过低、进口过多以及由此导致的工人失业下岗等系列问题。

    大摩首席经济师史蒂芬·罗奇在报告中指出，人民币汇率的调整不能填补美国的储蓄缺口，也不能解决美国资产导向消费引致的过度进口问题，而且还可能给中国仍未成熟的金融体系造成冲击。罗奇解释说，事实上，美国只能采取从外国输入剩余储蓄的方式来满足增长所需的资金，人民币升值并不能迫使美国人增加储蓄。
