美联储理事表示:将考虑更多信用卡方面的限制规则

    美联储理事米什金7日表示，如果信用卡披露机制方面的改革不见成效，美联储将考虑是否需要采取其他措施。但他同时警告称，美联储不希望因此造成后续的不良影响。 

    美联储理事米什金(Frederic Mishkin)7日表示，如果信用卡披露机制方面的改革不见成效，则美联储将考虑对信用卡制定进一步的限制规则。

    米什金称，美联储将考虑是否需要采取其他措施。但他同时警告称，美联储不希望因此造成后续的不良影响。

    米什金是在回应负责金融机构和消费信贷的众议院金融服务小组委员会(House Financial Services subcommittee)的问题时发表以上言论的。

    而此次听证会的其他监管者，包括通货监理官John Dugan以及联邦存款保险公司(Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation，FDIC)总裁Sheila Bair均表示，支持立法机构给予除美联储外的其他机构更多权力以禁止他们所认为带有不公平或欺骗性质的交易。
