美国财政部长鲍尔森称中国的人民币应更具灵活性

    美国财政部长鲍尔森(Henry Paulson)在接受该报专访时表示,中国应该加速人民币升值,让汇率更准确地反映经济基本面。

    报导称,鲍尔森表示,中国应该以更加容易获得有效货币政策并有能力掌握自身经济的方式,加速人民币升值。

    鲍尔森在接受专访时称,他认为人民币应该更具灵活性,更快的升值将使中国更容易获得有效的货币政策,对抑制长期通货膨胀也十分重要。

    报导称,鲍尔森表示,并未发现任何迹象表明,人民币升值有损中国经济发展。

    据报导,鲍尔森还表示,此次中美战略经济对话方向是长期的战略性经济问题,目前美国人最关心的包括食品安全?产品安全和贸易公正性问题。

    此外,鲍尔森承认美国存在贸易保护主义情绪,并表示他一直在为美国市场开放而努力。

    鲍尔森称,他注意到中国政府已经恢复审批合资证券公司,但指出,美国最希望看到的提高外资所有权上限方面没有任何进展。
