泰康"觊觎"农村保险市场

    泰康人寿董事长陈东升透露，泰康人寿今年将开拓农村保险市场。

    “目前，寿险公司的竞争主要集中在一、二级城市，而在县域、农村等三级市场，几乎只有中国人寿一家独大。”陈东升指出，但事实上农村人身险市场正随着当地居民购买能力的增加而不断扩大。

    陈东升表示，农村市场正成为保险公司争夺的下一轮阵地。不过与国寿网点“进村”不同，泰康人寿更倾向于采取在城乡结合点“城市包围农村”。

    据了解，现有农村网点超过14000个，覆盖全国30%以上的乡镇。在农村寿险市场，中国人寿占据了超过80%的市场份额。
