单位不缴社保该怎么办?

    南昌市民丁女士咨询：2000年4月，我到一家私营单位工作，当时单位负责人承诺为我办理社保。但直到2005年7月，单位才和我签了正式合同并开始办理社保。我想问一下，我能要求单位补缴2000年4月到2005年7月的社保吗？

    南昌市劳动和社会保障局答复：丁女士可以要求所在单位补缴自2000年4月到2005年7月的社保。如果单位拒绝，可向劳动监察部门投诉。
