中国保监会:加大对中介市场违规行为的处罚力度

    中国保监会有关负责人近日指出，为保护投保人利益，净化保险中介市场，2007年将进一步加强对中介市场的监管，加大对违规行为的处罚力度。

    这位负责人表示，2007年，保监会将重点查处保险中介机构及从业人员销售误导、虚假批退、制作假保单等侵害被保险人利益的违法违规行为，对严重损害被保险人利益的投诉和违规案件重点查办，从快、从重处罚，并将处罚结果通过媒体向社会公告。

    截至2006年底，全年保险公司通过保险中介渠道实现的保费收入4477.51亿元，占全国总保费收入的79.37%。
