退休前后社保交费有何不同?

    陈先生：退休人员如何交纳社会保险，与在职时的交费有哪些不同？ 

    市劳动和社会保障局：退休人员不需交纳养老保险，可按月领取养老保险金，但是仍需要继续交纳医疗保险金。退休人员如果有单位，医疗保险由单位继续承担。如果没有单位，由本人全额承担退休后的医疗费。按照乌鲁木齐市社会平均工资交纳，缴费率为4%，在职时的缴费率为5%。
