新华保险从宽理赔重疾险

    中国保险行业协会于日前公布了《重大疾病保险疾病定义的使用规范》。昨天，新华保险扬州分公司传来消息，针对该《使用规范》的实施及既往保单客户的理赔标准，新华保险在重大疾病的理赔上，将最大限度地照顾客户利益。

    新华保险表示，无论疾病定义怎样变化，新华人寿都将继续承担已售保单条款中的各项责任，在保险事故发生时按照约定的责任内容进行赔付。对于2007年8月1日以前生效的重大疾病保险保单，当扬城被保险人在2007年4月3日以后发生保险事故时，他们既可以按照原保单所述疾病定义申请理赔，也可以按照出险病种在《使用规范》中对应的标准定义进行理赔。对于2007年4月3日以后到新华人寿报案申请理赔但尚未结案的重大疾病保单，也适用上述政策。(扬州晚报)
