太平人寿对被袭事件发出首笔保险赔款

    昨日上午9：30分，距离我国中原油田驻埃塞俄比亚工地员工被袭事件发生后26小时，太平人寿保险公司南阳中心支公司发出首笔赔款5万元，中原油田员工余某成为这次事件发生后第一个获得商业保险赔偿的中国遇难人员。

    太平人寿南阳中心支公司是在4月25日下午下班后确认遇难者余某为公司的客户，公司随即启动了应急机制，太平人寿总公司、分公司、中心支公司三级联动，在几小时之内即做出赔付结论，并决定于昨日将赔款送达余某的受益人手中。目前我国商业保险公司为中国外派劳务人员提供的保险产品包括雇主责任险、出境人员意外伤害险和境外紧急救援意外伤害保险等险种。
