雇主责任险为矿难买单

    近日，湖南省涟源市安平镇新万三矿发生瓦斯突出事故，井下职工除1人逃生外，其余6人遇难。由于投保了煤矿雇主责任险，人保财险涟源市支公司迅速预付赔款40万元。

    据了解，涟源市安平镇新万三矿于2007年3月12日向人保财险涟源市支公司投保煤矿雇主责任险，投保人数52人，每人保险金额8万元。发生瓦斯突出矿难事故后，人保涟源支公司一接到报案就迅速赶赴事故现场，组织查勘抢救，确定伤亡人数，于当日下午将40万元预付赔款送给事故处理小组，迅速处理善后事宜。
